Murrow Award for its special report “Who Killed Dalton Mesarchik?” The award, given by Radio Television Digital News Association RTDNA, recognizes Heart of Illinois ABC News for outstanding local news journalism. The news station was specifically cited by the RTDNA in the Video category.
