Fort Wayne’s NBC up for highest Emmy honor

CLEVELAND (Fort Wayne’s NBC) – The regional chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has announced the nomination of Fort Wayne’s NBC for the Emmy Award presented for Overall Excellence.

It is the third nomination for the channel in the past four years. Fort Wayne’s NBC won the award in 2019.

This year, the other nominees are stations based in the region’s largest markets: Cleveland and Indianapolis.

The winner will be named this summer at the annual Lower Great Lakes Emmy gala.

Fort Wayne’s NBC is also nominated in the categories of Morning Newscast and Daytime Newscast.

A Fort Wayne’s NBC special presentation, “Faces of Change,” is up for honors in the category of News Special, and a report titled “Kiarah’s Legacy” is nominated in Health/Medical reporting.
