KBJR, WKOW, WXOW, KTIV, KTTC honored by Midwest Broadcast Journalists Association

Congratulations to our teams at five Quincy Media television stations for receiving awards for excellence from the Midwest Broadcast Journalists Association. The awards are named for Eric Sevareid, the North Dakota-born and University of Minnesota-educated journalist best known for his work as a correspondent for CBS Radio and Television.

KBJR of Duluth Minnesota, WKOW of Madison, Wisconsin, KTTC of Rochester, Minnesota, KTIV of Sioux City, Iowa and WXOW of La Crosse, Wisconsin won the following awards:

The Eric Sevareid awards honor the best work done in the MBJA's six-state region on radio, television and online. The awards were to be presented at this year's Midwest Journalism Conference but that event was cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The MBJA was formerly known as the Northwest Broadcast News Association.
