Administrative and Human Resources Manager – WEEK, Heart of Illinois ABC

WEEK Television, Inc. has an opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our leadership team in Peoria, Illinois.

Legacy NBC affiliate WEEK-TV and Heart of Illinois ABC-TV are looking for an Administrative and Human Resources Manager.  This position plays an integral part at both television stations (one location).  The successful candidate assists our Vice President/General Manager with administrative duties while also managing HR and payroll related duties at a department head level.

As Administrative and Human Resources Manager, a primary focus is to promote a positive work environment and ensure continued growth.

Preferred minimum qualifications include:

  • 2-year college degree in human resources, accounting, or business
  • 5 years relevant experience
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook skills
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail
  • Capable of productive and efficient multi-tasking
  • Proven people service skills and communication ability
  • Experience in a union environment is a key qualifier
  • Any combination of Personnel/Benefits/Payroll experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Great Plains software a plus
  • Occasional business travel in the future (business travel is currently suspended)
