Maintenance Engineer – KBJR


Make a difference behind the scenes in broadcast television and digital media! KBJR Television, Inc. is looking for its next full-time Broadcast Engineer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining video, audio, and other television broadcast equipment. Knowledge of server-based play-out systems, non-linear editors, switchers, and automation is preferred. Familiarity with RF technologies, basic wiring techniques and basic building maintenance practices is a plus. Help repair transmitters in remote locations. Responsible for project planning and installation of technical systems as described by supervisor. Perform other duties as required. We will train the right candidate!

High school diploma or equivalent with an Associate’s degree in electronics repair or equivalent experience in Broadcast Engineering;

Valid, current driver's license and clean driving record required. Job requires work call-in’s occasionally and available to work during emergencies.
