KTIV Honored With 12 Iowa Broadcast News Association Awards, 5 Eric Sevareid Awards
KTIV News 4 of Sioux City, Iowa was honored Saturday night with 12 awards from the Iowa Broadcast News Association during its annual convention in Johnston. The competition included stations across Iowa and in TV markets outside of Iowa that cover regions of the state. In a Facebook post, KTIV said “Awards are great and make us all feel good but we will never forget the reason we come to work everyday. To serve the people of Siouxland. Thank you for inviting us in to your home each and every day.”

KTIV News 4 was also honored Saturday night in Bloomington, MN with 5 Eric Sevareid Awards. They are given by the Midwest Broadcast Journalist Association to stations that serve Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota and Wisconsin. They are named for the late CBS News Journalist Eric Sevareid who was born in North Dakota.
