Quincy Media, Illinois High School Association, NFHS Network form new Championship Network for football and basketball coverage
he Illinois High School Association (IHSA) and digital broadcast partner the NFHS Network are proud to announce a new partnership with Quincy Media, Inc. that will create a statewide television and digital network to carry IHSA State Final broadcasts live during the 2019-20 school year and will continue on for the 20-21 and 21-22 school years.
“I believe strongly in local television’s role in delivering independent journalism, market leading weather coverage, quality content, and meaningful community involvement. As a team, we’ll strive each day to exceed viewer and user expectations,” said Bryce Caldwell, incoming KTTC Vice President and General Manager.
“Charlie’s background in sales, content (broadcast + digital) and tech makes him perfectly suited to lead our team of broadcast professionals with WSIL and help take us to the next level,” said Quincy Media Regional Vice President Jim McKernan.
